Christmas Programs & New Testament distribution

Dear Brothers and sisters,

The Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ is doing great things amongst us. It's truly an honor and privilege to  be serving Him, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

We at Baroda Gideon Camp are thrilled at the Doors He is opening for His Glory and the way He is guiding and using us for the lost.

The report of what the Lord has done in the last few months is as follows:

1. New Testament distribution in Narhari Hospital.

2. New Testament distribution in Basil School.

3. New Testament distribution in Refinery Hospital.

4. Placement of Holy Bibles in Hotel Tulsi

5. Placement of Holy Bibles in Hotel Nidra

6. Placement of New Testaments in small clinics

7. Gospel Sharing, Worship and New Testament distribution in Nadiad Jail

8. New Testament Distribution during the special Mother Teresa Train.

9. Gospel Sharing, Worship and New Testament distribution in SRP camp.

We give all Glory and honor and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for using us for His glory. Please pray that the seeds we have sown will bring a thousand fold result in the coming days for eternity. Amen and Amen

We request you to pray for the following programs that the Lord has opened ways for:

1. Testimony, Worship and Gospel sharing program along with New testament Distribution on 17th of dec in Surat jail.

2. Permission for Jail Ministry in Sabarmati Central jail on 24th Dec.

3. Permission for Jail Ministry in Vadodara central jail on 25th Dec.

4. We are planning to open a camp in Vyara and Songadh area. God had taken us to few good believers in Vyara in our last trip. Pray that the Lord anoints and appoints a good President and members to bring glory to His Name in the South Gujarat area.

5. We are seeking permission for Bible distribution in few schools please pray.

6. We are having Church Presentations in some big churches in the coming days, namely The Sharon Methodist church, please pray that the Lord opens hearts for membership and scripture fund.

7. We are planning for Pastor's Appreciation Banquet in November, please pray.

8. Please pray that the Lord uses all the Baroda camp members mightily in the coming days.

NT Distribution & Gospel Sharing at SRP Training Centre Vadodara

Dear Gideons,

Praise the Lord our God.
We had a New Testament Distribution and Gospel sharing program in SRP training centre, Vadodara today.
What an blessing it was to all of us who participated in this God given opportunity of a life time.
The program lasted for more than two hours from 8.30 am to 10.30 am and the acceptance was simply awesome. All the cadres shouted 'Hallelujah' many a times (it was taught to them by Brother Bilwal).

Mr. Jadhav the assistant Director was very supportive and kind to us.
We distributed more than 500 Gujarati NT and 100 Hindi NT.

Brother Edward shared the testimony and Brother Mahesh shared the word with the cadres.

Pastor's Appreciation Banquet : Baroda Camp

Praise the Lord Gideons,

The Baroda Camp heartily thanks the Gideons Leadership Team headed by brother Prabhakar Mhaske and the Pastors who attended the 'Pastors Appreciation Banquet' on 9th Oct 2010.

Praise be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, because of His abounding grace we could successfully arrange the appreciation banquet.The banquet was attended by more than 20 pastors who were given a presentation on the Gideon International vision and activities in India.

May the Lord God open ways and make our plans bring fruits, some 30 and some 60 some 100 fold. Amen

Placing New Testaments in Clinics & Hospitals

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

As mentioned in the earlier post on the weekly meet, the Lord gave us the grace to plan placing New Testaments in clinics and Hospitals. The initial response has been very encouraging from the doctors. Brother Bilwal visited two clinics in the Lunch hours, which it seems is the best suited time as there are not much patients during this time. The Doctors were not only interested in allowing us to place the NT but also asked him to regularly come and place few mores if people took them home. 

We praise God for all that He is doing and His grace He has given us to carry out His great commission.

We at the Baroda Camp of Gideons, appreciate your participation and co-operation and as a token of appreciation, we want to honor our you.

Gideons Baroda Camp : Weekly Meeting

Greetings to all in the Name of our Sweet Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Praise be to God and our Savior Jesus Christ for what He is doing in the Bardoa Gideons Camp. We are confident, hoping and waiting for the Lord to use us for His great work for which we are undeserving and incapable, but with the Grace of our Lord, we are sure we will be do great things. 

Few of the highlights that we have discussed in this meeting: 

1. We are praying and will try to cross the 100 mark in membership in the Baroda camp. We already have 45 members, we are praying that the Lord open the way and hearts of people to come and join us in taking the Gospel to the world. 

2. We will focus on the Bible distribution to Clinics in the coming month.. Starting with our own Family doctors we are planning to reach out to all clinics in our area. As the patients in clinics wait for hours, by the Grace of God, the chances of them reading a book or two from the Holy Gospel is very high. Please keep this in your prayers. May the Lord bless us with the wisdom and grace to carry this out. 

3. We are meeting in Akota every Monday from 9 pm to 11 pm. this week it has been decided that every first monday we will be meeting in some members home. This way we can cater to the active members in each area. The next monday we are having a meeting at Bro. Raju Mathew's home, who is also the chairman for Church ministries in Gideons Baroda camp. 

4. We are planning for a meeting cum dinner party for Pastors on the 9th of Oct in Hotel Tulsi. In this meeting we are trying to increase the participation of the Local churches in the Gospel distribution and also in increasing the membership. 

5. On 10th Oct a special team of 12 national representatives are visiting Baroda, to encourage and enlighten local churches about what Gideons stands for and also to motivate for their participation. 

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, remember what the Lord said, 'the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few'... we need more and more helping hands to carry out His great Commission. Lets do our best for the Lord. We humbly request you to keep this points in your personal prayers..
